… is easy when you’re not the one having to rake them…
Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Fall is almost gone, just a few leaves remain (for me to take).

Captured on Halloween, behind our house. No retouching necessary. 🙂
Captured these leaves with frozen drops of rain on a recent walk in the neighborhood, using my umbrella to ensure a uniform background. The second shot reminded me of stalactites in a cave.

It’s just cold enough that the rain freezes instantaneously – time to bundle up in front of the fireplace and not leave the house!
As seen from our backyard porch. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Loving the colors of Vermont! A brief weekend excursion to Stowe, VT, offered many photo opportunities like these:

Just one week later, all the leaves were gone. Good bye foliage, welcome stick season!
And happy Thanksgiving, everybody!

The J.H.Sessions factory building in Bristol, CT, caught my eye as I was driving by. Couldn’t get to the abandoned inside, but the outside provided plenty of photo opportunities. Click on any pic to see them in slideshow format:

A hazy and foggy morning created some good opportunities to isolate this tree from the background (which is usually a green marsh).

I spent a day last weekend in Montana with my son and we spent the entire day taking pictures. Here’s the first batch, of the scenery while driving from Bozeman to Virginia City.

I didn’t know until I looked at this picture on my computer that I had caught this little fly enjoying the hibiscus flower.

I shot these while walking our dog on a crisp morning. Even in black&white, nature is gorgeous:
