Sad that these rides were decommissioned, I’m sure at some point kids LOVED to stop here to enjoy the rides while parents got a break from the incessant ‘are we there yet?’ from the backseat. Near Wall Street in lower Manhattan, a few buildings remind us of how it looked in the early days before skyscrapers took over the island. The second be looks like a precursor of the Flatiron Building to me.
