I spy a few herons   1 comment

Spotted a few herons that, uncharacteristically, sat in a tree (do you see them in the first picture?) rather than stalking their prey in the muddy marsh below.

  1. Great spotting, Lutz! Love that cloud photo, too. Those are Great White Egrets, which, like Great Blue Herons, roost and nest in trees – it is safer there!
