I took these shots while walking through my neighborhood in the evening, struck by the fact that these sights are pretty rare in Manhattan.

  1. Love the Car Wash photo… the red wash of the sign, the ominous sky… how did you get that lighting?

    • Aaah – the beauty of post-processing: combining multiple exposures and adjusting the final image gets you all kinds of strange effects — some realistic, some surreal.
