This tree feels so lost and lonesome to me every time I walk past it while I’m taking the dog out. Captured in the marsh near Clinton Harbor.

Walking the dog at the same early, but now darker, time (6:30), and during a recent snowfall, provided new perspectives:

Loved the juxtaposition of the old and new, and how the buildings seamlessly connected visually.

Captured these while descending towards LaGuardia airport in New York on a gorgeous sunny summer day.

Caught on the Friday afternoon train out of Grand Central Terminal in New York. I liked the contrast of posture and attire, yet they both evoke the same question:”Are we there yet?” as they wait to get to their destination and start their weekend.
A beer and a nap on the train home from New York is something I see quite often.
Caught near Reagan Airport in Washington, DC. Spring is here, while its still freezing in CT. What’s up with that?!?
A visit to the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix provides some great opportunities for black&white shots. Click on any pic to view them in full-screen slide show format.

Enjoyed watching this pelican cruise through the evening air in Sanibel, FL.
This trendy girl was very eager to get to the airport and onto her flight home. Captured on rental car bus at LAX.

These two captured my imagination in the New York subway. What is that man listening to? Where did that lady get her scarf?

I loved the lines of this intersection as we drove past it. Shot out the window with my iPhone, I had to be quick to capture the angle, as my wife wasn’t about to stop driving just so I could adjust the settings.

Don Quijote would have had fun here (or gone completely crazy). Captured outside of Palm Springs.

Looks like tennis is not the sport of choice of this little girl. Captured at last week’s Indian Wells Tennis Tournament.

Well, it’s abandoned at least until summer returns. For now, the only sounds you hear are the cries from seagulls.

Overheard in a Coffee Shop:
“Going to the bathroom has become such an undertaking.”
“If they’d both come over, they’d kill each other.”
“He’s got the worst facial hair, it’s like vomit.”
