Captured this Red-tailed Hawk as he was surveying the field behind our house for his breakfast during sunrise. The other images were shot after I followed him to a tree that allowed me to get closer.

Beautiful captures, Lutz, especially the first one back-lit by the sun. It is not an osprey, however. Possibly an immature shoulder-shouldered hawk? see allaboutbirds.org for more help with ID. It is a great resource!
